Michael has exhibited numerous times including three solo exhibitions since his first show in 1997 and has sold a large number of prints through his exhibitions and via his commercial contacts. Remnant – October 2002Remnant is Michael’s latest exhibition, and represents a shift from working with purely black and white, fibre-based prints, to an exploration of the possibilities of combining 'monochrome colour images' with 'coloured black and white images' using the digital photography medium. The images range from landscapes to architectural studies through to nature photographs. The lines between black & white photography and colour photography are intentionally blurred, and the results are simply wonderful. These images may be purchased, contact Michael for a quotation In Passing - March/April 1999Held at New Aesthetix Gallery in Camperdown, Sydney, Australia in March and April 1999, this exhibition featured 22 black and white fine art prints, scrutinising places and objects that would normally be passed by; a collection of ordinary things given extraordinary attention. The subject matter varies substantially, as the photos were taken over a six year period, and in several countries. There is also a series of photographs within the exhibition titled ‘Winter Harbour’. These Sydney Harbour images are made on misty mornings and rainy days to evoke a decidedly eerie feeling. These images may be purchased, contact Michael for a quotation Debut Exhibition - May 1997Two series’ of images made up Michael’s first solo exhibition, held at a bar then known as Ram Baa, in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia, in May 1997. The black and white photographs were hand printed and toned, and offered in a limited edition of just two. The Highlands Summer 96 series was made after Michael visited Scotland during the northern hemisphere summer.
